Kingston Yacht Club has been part of the Kingston Waterfront since 1896. It’s dining and banquet facility offers a breath-taking panoramic view of Kingston Harbour. Catering to members of Kingston Yacht Club and their guests, KYC’s Dining Room is also available for private rental.

Kingston Yacht Club offers a complete food and beverage service with a dedicated, professional team to assist you in co-ordinating every detail of your social event, dinner or meeting. Our banquet facility is available year round and has a capacity for 20-120 guests.

Offering superb cuisine, KYC will custom design menus to suit a myriad of tastes. We are committed to working within practical budgets. Excellent service is provided by well-trained staff.

KYC is fully licensed to provide a complete beverage service, including host bar capabilities.

Member Food Services

Kingston Yacht Club will be offering, food service for the members seven days a week from Victoria Day weekend to Labour Day weekend. Let KYC do the cooking for you, whether you are coming for lunch, or you are famished before (or after) racing or your Learn to Sail lessons, or it’s just too hot to be in the kitchen. The casual menu will be available from the bar downstairs, and members can choose where they would like to consume it, either downstairs, outside or in the Dining Room. Fancy Fridays will be more upscale, with real linen and table service in the Dining Room, and additional items on the menu. As well, if you have a larger group that would like to have lunch in the Dining Room on other days, we can arrange that, too. Hours are outlined below.

We’re also taking a leap and saying if the Club is open, they’ll come. So, the KYC Bar will be open longer hours this summer. Come and enjoy your favourite beverage, the ambience, the camaraderie, and remember, it’s always a couple of degrees cooler near the lakeshore.

The tradition continues, of course, with KYC special events. This is a great way to introduce your friends to KYC or to meet other members. Watch the Log, the web-site and your e-mail for notices of upcoming social events. Please reserve in advance for these events, to ensure space is available. Payment for Food and Beverage at KYC can be made by chit (with a signed credit agreement), cash, debit, Visa, Mastercard, or American Express. Please note that KYC does not provide a “cash back” service with debit cards.
