Funding

ASK is an incorporated not-for-profit organization which depends on funding from individuals, corporations and government agencies to provide the funding enabling ASK to offer its recreational sailing programs to Kingston's community of disabled persons. ASK's 2004 capital campaign target is to raise $60,000 required to construct a covered structure from which to shield participants from the elements during on shore teaching, purchase a 2nd Martin 16 specialized sailboat (bringing the overall fleet to 2 Martins and 2 Access dinghy) and allow for a required $15,000 in operating funds to be available to pay staff, purchase supplies, perform boat maintenance etc.. Your contribution will assist ASK in bringing the thrill and freedom of sailing to persons with a disability. All donations over $20 qualify for an official tax receipt from the registered charity, "Sport IS - Development Fund" administered by The Sport Alliance of Ontario.

Sponsors

The Able Sail Kingston (ASK) Committee would like to recognize the following organizations and individuals for their generous financial and "In Kind" donations which has allowed the Able Sail Kingston program to be offered to adult and youth participants in the Kingston and surrounding area since its inception in 2002.
