Dinghy Racing
Fleet Captains: Matthew Fair,
Chris Walmsley
KYC has undertaken to revive the once vibrant dinghy racing
by providing support to dingy sailors to participate in club
racing on Wednesday nights. This is a new initiative and input
and flexibility from both the sailing committee and the dinghy
fleet participants will be required to ensure a successful
summer of dinghy sailing. The mission is to provide every
club member who is interested in dinghy racing the opportunity
and support required to have a fun, safe, and competitive
dingy racing series. We hope that many club members from novice
racer to seasoned international elite calibre racers will
participate. This may provide many useful training opportunities
for both junior club members and staff and also those who
are wishing to improve their performance at national and international
regattas.
